A team that has built and sold a sovereign mapping company before

We believe you shouldn't have to navigate life alone, so we built an app that knows where you are, what you care about, and what might make your day a little better.

Less a tool you open when you're lost; more something you check before you leave the house.

ARI puts your life on the map, serving as your daily companion. We kicked things off as the digital partner of Cocktail Week Zurich from June 1–7, 2026.

01

The DNA, Endoxon, 2006

Our founding team built and sold Endoxon, tech, code and team, to Google.

The acquisition seeded what is now Google Maps and set a worldwide standard for A-to-B routing. We have done this before. We know what gets built, what gets bought, and what gets locked in.

02

The sister, Axon Vibe

Our sister company powers Swiss public-transport ticketing, and beyond.

Axon Vibe operates the ticketing infrastructure for Swiss rail and tram networks, plus several public-transport operators internationally. Real-world, regulated, mobility-grade.

03

The team behind ARI

Thirteen FTE in Zürich, right by the Central tram stop.

ARI is a product of LiveMap, a team of ~13 FTE, primarily engineers and designers, headquartered next to Zürich's Central station. Built by people who have to live with what they ship, on the tram they use every morning.

Provenance is not a moat. Repetition is. We have walked this exact path, and chose to build the sovereign version this time.

How does ARI use AI?

ARI uses open source large language models (LLMs) to understand user intent and build customised experiences within the application. We continuously evaluate different models, but prioritise open source ones that we will be able to run on our own infrastructure in the future. Until then, we partner with Swiss-owned companies that host AI-models exclusively in Switzerland.

Built by LiveMap AG, Zürich, Switzerland. We build real-time tools that help people move through changing environments and everyday life.
